Twin Falls Hike

Mom and Dad decided to surprise us with a hike this morning to Twin Falls, near Snoqualmie.  We like hikes, we like water, we like hikes that stay near water. We did a lot of splashing around as well as some climbing.

We're allowed as long as we're on leash!

In Seattle, the weather rarely gets over 70ᴼ F  yesterday, it was 94ᴼ F according to mom's Termomergauge... so what do we dawgs do?  We hit the pool!

Mom and Dad decided that it would be fun to see us play in waves. (Didn't know what that meant this morning) So we drove 2 hours (Nala whined like 90% of the time) and got to the beach. Man, were their weird smells... and birds that are actually half our size! Mom called them gulls.

We're not sure if he's really swimming or just cheating. When he got to the edge of the shallow thing, he panicked... so maybe we'll get him some swim lessons because this mama doesn't have non-swimming children... fur-babies are no exception!

Water Dogs

Yesterday the puppies had their first foray into water. We attempted this a few times before, first near Cedar River, and another in a little kid pool at the dog park. Neither dog seemed interested to be in or near the water. This all changed yesterday morning when we took the kiddos to Magnuson Park in the U-district.
