Oh No!

Nala has come down with Puppy Warts and there's nothing I can do about it!  I don't like being told to wait things out and I definitely don't like being told NOTHING can be done! In all days of modern technology, there's NOTHING? Because of this, besides Tanner, we can't put her into Day Camp and we shouldn't take her to the dog park with other dogs because she's contagious as long as she has symptoms.  Hopefully she'll be a lucky dog and only have symptoms for a few weeks.

This makes me sad because what am I to do? The Fiance will be taking her to the dog parks during the day when others are still at work and tho this condition is contagious we're still going to Petpalooza because Nala needs the socialization with people. I don't expect her to want to do anything while there besides trying to be small and invisible.

Sleeping Dogs Lie!

Yesterday, I brought Nala and Tanner to day camp plus an overnight stay at Petsmart's Pet Hotel. I had to work late for the 3rd night in a row and didn't want them to suffer 3 days stuck in the house, especially Tanner who has to stay in his kennel. After 2 days of play and 1 over night stay, this what I've brought them home to! My 2 sleepy dogs, on 1 couch!  I'm sitting on my chaise as I post this but find it quite comical that they have taken over the couch... as usual!

Nala and Tanner sleeping on the couch!

Tanner, too tired to sit and laying on the floor, waiting to go for a potty walk.

Introductions

This is a blog about my cute and cuddly dogs, Nala and Tanner. They are 6 months apart and not related biologically!  (Popular Question) This blog is mostly for pictures and comments from their every day escapades to the dog park, morning car rides to day camp and in house fun.

The pups:

Nala is quite the shy girl.  She loves her mama (yay me) but is cautious of other people. We lost Nala for 32 days in November/December of last year which now makes Mama cautious to take her to large and unfenced dog parks. Luckily for me and Nala, we got help from some people in Missing Pets Partnerships by lending us a device to catch her! She's been contently living at home every since.

Tanner is our rambunctious little rascal that we have added to our household in early April!  He's the sweetest thing but I struggle with whether he likes me or not. He loves toys, and treats and attention from strangers. Right now, he's taking puppy classes which I hope to be a fun and bonding experience to the both of us.

I (SweetPea) am using this site to display camera obsession with my new children and the crazy things I do to make them happy! LOL

Enjoy!
